i find this alarming because jones was very outspoken and had great guests on discussing topics most other media outlets wouldn't go near.. the fact that many have restricted him access to their medium what does this say on our freedoms of speech?.

I'm guessing this probably has something to do with the mounting litigation that he is being hit with in the last few months from parents of the Sandy Hook shooting. From what I understand, some of the parents are still receiving death threats and constant harassment from people who follow the theories that AJ popularized about it all being a staged 'false flag' and all. So it seems some people are using Simon's route of libel and court action. I'm definitely no fan of AJ. I find him to be unnecessarily obnoxious. He admitted that his show is a gimmick and that he is just playing a "character" during his custody court proceedings recently. I'm also not ignorant to the fact that this WILL be used to target political dissidents of all stripes, which is a bad sign

oh where to begin i am a born in witness witness mother and father and grandparents though only 2 of the 4. i was born in the early 80’s and immediately my parents faced the blood transfusion issue course in their minds at the time it wasn’t an issue it was not gonna happen.

i don’t wanna go into too much detail but fortunately it worked out well as is evidenced by my writing of this back story.

i had the usual spiritual goals that most witness children have i got baptized at 13 then i started running mics and doing sound and giving more talks.

Welcome F2F. Thanks for sharing your story. I am also a born in who is only a few years younger than yourself. So I'm sure we dealt with many of the same issues growing up in a JW family. Grandparents on both sides were JWs. I was fortunate in that I was never baptized and ended up walking away around the time I got my first GF at 16 years old. My parents are still active and never skip an opportunity to invite me to CO talks and memorials. Even though I left at a young age, it took some time to deprogram all the BS they drill into your head. It's a process. Take your time with it and enjoy the freedom!

i just love virtually any kind, from creamy and soft to brittle and sharp, from cottage cheese to the 'moldy' cheeses like gorgonzola.

i like to try new things, so any suggestions for cheese varieties you have tried?

I understand the irritation. I'm not a fan of liberals and progressives overuse of the term nazi and / or fascists. It muddies the water and takes away from genuine critiques of actual self described nazis and fascists.

White Nationalism puts a hyper focus on the inferiority of those who are not white. They emphasize the need for a white ethno-state because of said inferiority. There is this weird obsession with "white genocide' in the mind of the white nationalist. Oh and they love to talk about how much jews ruin everything lol. I can provide more details if needed

Black Nationalism puts a focus on returning to the mother land (Africa) in order to escape white supremacy. Their main goal is not "revenge" on white folks. That's an age old myth used to justify harsh repression of them

When I mentioned muslim extremists, I was referring to within the US. There is no doubt that muslim extremism is an issue. I am not doubting that for one second. The Islamic State is an islamic fascist group that has committed some of the most terrible acts imaginable. It's too bad that the US contributed to their rise.

If a feminist calling for the patriarchy to be smashed is violent incitement, then what would you call Trumps order to police to be more violent with suspects during arrests?
